I have Danners, and they are OK nut they did seem to leak some in wet conditions. I have since been wearing Vasque Summits, which are sold at Redwings stores... You may want to look at them while you are there...

I have a pair of Vasque Ranger GTX hiking boots that are waterproof and very comfy.

Danner Pronghorn, but if you have wide feet.. You're better off with Irish Setter. Redwing Shoes; the company that makes Irish setter, specializes in wide boot sizes.
