New Rangefinder Arrived
 

The big brown truck dropped off the new rangefinder - a Leica LRF1200 Scan. The neighbors are probably think I' m spying on them, testing it out on all the cars, houses, trees, etc. around my place. So far so good, seems to be a nice unit.

Picked it up from Camera Land (www.cameralandny.com) for $399, best price I' d found from an authorized dealer (checked Leica' s site before making the order).

I also got a Leica Rangmaster Scan but the 900 model for hunting this season. It sure is nice and clear. I’m very impressed on how the scan works. I like the idea that all is required is just a regular 9 volt alkaline battery. I’ll have to agree with you CalNewbie, the 900 and 1200 are nice unit;)
