I bought my first climber last week. I got a Summit Viper SD XXX which is the 30 year anniversary edition. I've always used ladder stands and hunt on private land. After a few hours my butt is hurting so bad I'm ready to get down. Yesterday I spent the day practicing using my new climber in the back yard, with the harness. After it got dark I practiced setting it up and such in the dark. This morning I was excited to get to the woods. I got in the woods before daylight and got it set up, climbed the tree without any problems. That is the most comfortable stand I've ever been in. I'm very happy with the purchase, wish I would've done it sooner. Didn't see any deer today, but it was just nice to be in the woods!!!
