Boots

I am looking for a good scent control, feet warm and dry boot. Preferrably calve high. I bought a pair or columbia rubber insulated boots two years ago and they were sliced up and leaked by the end of one deer season. Thanks.

You could try the Irish Setter Snow Claw... they have a 12" boot with 2000 gram insulation (not sure how cold it gets where you are) and use Scentban. http://huntingboots.com/irish-setter

If dry and warm are high on your list, you should consider Lacrosse Alpha SST's. I have the 2000 gram model, and they're great when it's really cold out.

I have 2 pairs of Mucks that are light and super comfy. The problem with any rubber boat is they don't breath. Muck claims there boats breath but I haven't noticed. My feet regularly sweat even on a cold day.

Irish Setter makes good boots. They have a wide variety depending on what you want. They also stand behind their product. I sent a pair back to them that a seam gave out on and had a new pair 10 days later. Sold me.

Scent control stay out of the woods.

Good boots, USA manufactured Danners.

^^ I second the Danner brand hunting boots...all leather...gore-tex (water resistant), comfortable...

Something else I'll toss out....

My next pair of hunting boots, for early season bow hunting, is going to be a pair of Russell Trackers. They're a light weight stalking boot. I've wanted a pair of these for some time, I'm going to have a pair made before next September.

These look like the perfect still hunting boot. :happy0001:
