alright guys i have a bunch of questions hope you can help...

first what would be the best scope to get to put on a 10/22?

2nd whats the best camo to buy... im talking about brand i want to get realtree ap camo. im looking for super quality and comfort. for a half decent price ( jackets, sweaters,pants, boots,layers under jacket)?

what are the best spotting scopes, binos and rangefinders?

whats your guys favorite knifes?



i live and canada and would like to know whats your guys favorite place to get good hunting equipment?


all this stuff is alittle wierd that im asking but me and a couple friends like playing paintball and airsoft all the time.. and i think some of this stuff would be cool

what are some good shooting gloves?

im also looking for stuff like special ops where (all black) the cool stuff? anything you can think of?


whats the best walkie talkies and is there any tacticle head piece that i can get with it (kinda like the fbi)

I can't answer them all, but here are a few.

Best scope for a 10/22? The one you like and can afford! Really, get one you like. I have 3 10/22's and one has a 3x9x40 Bushnell on it, another has a 2x7 Leupold and the third one has a Tasco 4x40 Pronghorn on it. Everyone shoots great.

Realtree AP is a good camo, but then again, nearly any of them are. Heck, I've killed a lot of deer wearing green plaid and blue jeans!

Best scopes, bino's, etc. Again, these days most are great. Redfield, Bushnell, Leupold, Zeiss, Nikon are all good as are the branded glass from Cabelas and Bass Pro. Personally, I have problems with Simmons and tend to stray away from them. I like the older Japan made Tasco glass, but have had problems with the newer China made products.

Best knife? I don't buy production knives any longer. I buy custom knives. You'll find that for a few dollars more, you can get a great knife that can be handed down to your kids. Take a look at AGRussell.com. As for production knives, Gerber, Buck, SOG, Syderco, Kershaw and Outdoor Edge all make good knives.

My Canadian friends like Canadian Tire & Auto for their hunting gear.

Okie made some good points. Choose the best scope that you can afford. Military surplus is probably the place to start looking for camo.

The best optics is subjective. I have used $20 binos up to a $1000 pair of Swarovski SLC.
Looking at value for the money I would go with Steiner, Nikon or Leupold, but there are certainly other choices that would be as good.

For production knives most name brands will work. Lately I lean towards Buck and Cold Steel.

The tacti cool spec ops stuff can be a little over rated. (I was an MP with the Marine Corps) Refer back to basic military surplus. Keep it simple and keep your gear organized.

Shooting gloves, you will have to experiment and find what works for you.

Radio set-up would be what ever you are willing to spend.
