I agree. Wind is more important than any scent control product out there imo.

Commercial chemicals
I use baking soda also, 1/2 a pound for a full wash load. I also have a washer that has never seen detergent, very important I feel. Dry clothing outside, and store in a vacuum bag. Clothing, boots, packs, never see the inside of a house. As stated in prior posts, I do EVERYTHING according to the wind.

What was ur formula
Play the wind, wash clothing in baking soda. I use scent away however, last year I took baking soda and warm water and mixed it togather in a spray bottal. I had 3 does come within 10 yards of me, one came under my stand and had a 10 pt. buck around 20 yards from me, he is now in my freezer and wall.

The scent cover that works best for me is Scent-A-Way Fresh Earth scent. I don't know how it smells to a deer or elk but to me, it smells just like fresh dirt. Each application lasts 3 to 4 hours, even when stalking. I've used it hunting in OK, TX and S. Dakota. Will probably use it in CO later this fall.
