Leupold Illuminated Scopes

I am thinking of purchasing a Leupold with an Ill. dot. Can anyone give me their experience with these, good, bad, or indifferent. It is a healthy investment and really don' t want to make a bad investment.

Thanks,

RE: Leupold Illuminated Scopes

It’s to bad you’re not getting any feed back. I’m assuming the scope you are describing is the Illuminated Mil. Dot or the Illuminated Circle Dot. These are the only two I could find under reticle styles from Leupold. All I can say on my part is that I had thought of getting a Leupold with illuminated cross hairs but decided to stay away because it’s just one more thing that can go wrong when hunting and how long would the batteries last ? Good Luck in your purchase.
