Chaps

Any recommendations on a good pair of chaps? I hunt in NY (more on Long Island) and looking for something waterproof, breathable, and somewhat quiet. I've been looking at Orvis ultimate chaps, Cabelas stonewall, Filson, and LL Beans chaps. Thoughts on a pair under $100?

I think I'd go with LL Bean simply because their warranty is along the line of "you don't like it or it ever fails... we'll replace it". I've heard complaints lately about Cabelas warrantys. Can't say as to Orvis... never really bought anything from them other than some flies etc.

I would take a good look at the Filson Double Tin Chaps. Tin cloth is hard to beat.

I have a pair of Filson chaps, they are tough to beat.
