gun stock wood
 

i carve and do cutom gun stocks,and im always interested in the choices people make when chooseing a stock or art work on one.
although i dont like laminates i have to say some are quite pretty.
but what i would like to know is what is yalls favorite wood.
clario walnut, curly maple,birds eye maple ,or what have you..let me know what you think is the nicest looking wood...even laminates
