The neatest gizmo !
I recently recieved Moultrie's Re Action Cam & I just want to tell the world about it. This is the coolest thing to come down the pike in a while I think. Imagine just walking thru the woods & seeing a deer or something else you want to be able to share with others when you get back home. I have a 4gb SD card in mine & that's up to 3 hrs video recording time. Just clip it on your cap & your ready to go. Video resolution is pretty good with 2,4,6 & 8x zoom power. This will be an easy way to video your hunt.... hands free. It'll take some practice to learn to move your head slowly & have the cam in line with your own view, but easy just the same with practice. The audio quality lacks a bit, but still, I haven't messed with it much while in the woods. This won't be any good in low light conditions, but it's still fun to mess around with. Just going in to check your trail cameras will be a new experience as well. I posted my own little review along with a video clip at Chasingame.com. This is lightweight enough that you can easily forget it's attached to your hat. Once you start bringing home videos of deer & such, you wife will soon forget she was ever mad at you for buying another hunting gadget...lol. It also takes pics but the video is more fun messing with.
Here's a pic I just took looking up into the lamp next to my chair
Here's one of my 1st videos just messing with it on the 1st day I had it

That is very cool, i havn't seen anything like that here in New Zealand but im going to start looking, I like the idea of taking those special times home for my wife and familt to see who don't go hunting. How long does the battery last?

Oops, I knew I forgot to mention something. It takes two AA batteries & I've now gone a week of playing around with it, turning it on & off more times than I can count. It does have a power meter on the LCD screen, so just have an extra set handy to play it safe.

Yeah, I agree, looks like a slick gizmo. I think if you practiced trying to video something at a particular height, then go back to see what was recorded, through trial and error, you should be able to "aim" better at what you want to film. I too noticed right away that a slow head motion gives you much better clarity.
Looks fun!
