Default Rubber Rain boots from walmart!!

OK, here is a question, we have all sean those Black rain boots at Walmart, my question is how would they be for hunting? Are they snake proof, would it be worth me trying these out? Main thing is are they snake proof? Please help me out, thanks

Not snake proof to my knowledge (though I havent tested that). I wear them all the time, they do not last long in Floridas terrain but they are very cheap.. usually around $20. Keep a pair in the back of my truck everywhere I go down here.

I've used them for years!! Y pay for the brand name when these are just as good. They are not snake boots!!

Definitely buy gaiters. Unless you plan on using the boots to wade in water then the gaiters will become a hindrance. Those cheap boots would not stop a snake from biting you.

Talking Snake proof !!!!!!

I thought sporting goods stores will put a snake proof tag on boots, if they charge some $200 for the boots.

Those snakes might go on strike over cheap boots.
