are these any good? looking for a skinner with a gut hook....

They are " okay" . A good one is the the Buck " Zipper" it has a gut hook, the right size not too small or big, nice balance, straight or serrated, and like all Buck' s high quality. Cabelas $54.99-$58.99.

i had always used custom made knives with a gut hook. i found these kershaw to be well made and very sturdy. just like a buck the edge is very hard to keep sharp

I have a Kershaw Blade Trader, so far I have been impressed with the performance and construction. I sharpen the edge to 20% and found this prolongs it nicely. It is real easy to sharpen and although I never used the gut hook for deer, it works great on moose and elk!
