Air rest has anyone used 1 or have any opinions

It might help some people if you explained what it is first. =)
As for me I'd like to know how the hell does it hold the arrow in the centre

hogtiming 03-15-2010 05:04 PM

google it for pixs. A magnet rest and a magnet inside ur arrow and when you draw back they contrst and ur arrow floats free of everything

BowHuntingAustralia 03-19-2010 01:15 PM

but wouldn't the magnet weight make your arrow a fair bit heavier

Unique concept, but I wouldn't want to mess with having to put inserts in arrows, and --as already mentioned-- you're adding weight and will also need to re-sight everything.

Seems like a solution looking for a problem that other rests have already solved in a less complicated manner.

It weighs xtra 20 gr per arrow

that thing's a trip. it seems to me it wouldnt hold your arrow 100% steady during release. something about using three magnets just don't seem trustworthy to me, but i may just be trippin.
