EZ UP Tree Stand Pulley
 

Has anyone used one of these? Seems simple enough, but are they more of a hassle, then anything?

Looks like it would be easy to build your own!

ive never used one but they look like they would make life alot easier when hanging off a tree trying to hang your stand. i might try to make one to see how it works. ill let you know what i come up with.

i just found plans to make one it seems simiple all you need is a 1 foot piece of 2x4 a u bolt a pulley and rope. here is the link

seems stupid to me. I've always just tossed a rope over a branch, does the same thing....plus you don't have to climb up 20feet hook up the pulley/rope then raise your stand...

too much work for no gain in my eyes.

Great site for tree stands, thanks. The pulley looks pretty easy to make. I also like the climbing sticks. I find it takes more time to screw in climbing pegs, especially if I'm hardwood trees, then getting the stand in place.

My personal opinion is to make your own.
