Looking for a Reliable Scope
Just wanting to see if anyone can give me any ideas on what scope i should get for my Muzzle-loader. Ill be hunting open woods most of the time.
I've looked around but just haven't felt comfortable with any yet.
Looking for something that's not pricey but something that will last.

This is from learned experience. Purchase a scope made for a shotgun or muzzleloader. I went thru a couple of scopes on my T/C Black Diamond. They last a short time then wont hold a zero. The gun was shooting great groups then shots were all over the paper. I did all the checks and cleaning, no joy. Changed scopes and right back to shooting great groups. This happened twice; I would go with a T/C scope or a Nikon.

Look at Vortex. I hear the optic quality compares to Leupold and the warrenty cannot be beat. If there are issues maybe this will get someone to post about them. Everyone i have read whoa has had problems (where they were broken/dropped etc) got replacement. It is not one of those manufacturer defect warrenties that nobody backs up. It will be my next scope
