Camo Rain cover for backpack
Is there such a thing? Is camo even necessary for a rifle hunters pack?
I'm just getting back into hunting again, but have been regularly hiking, camping and fishing in the backwoods. I already own an awesome backpack that's all broken in. I love it and know where everything is, but it's blue and black. Is there any non permanant way to camo it? I don't want to do something like spraypaint that will look like crap and be irreversible, but just hate to spend money I could be putting towards other gear. Is camo that important in a backpack, or is more of a marketing thing like a camo barbecue apron LOL??? Opinions and suggestions are greatly appreciated... |
don't know of any camo rain covers....and you don't need to camo it, many people kill animals with just a regular backpack..when you think about it, the pack is on your back and the deer can't see your back.....also, most i talk to use a black garbage bag and cover the backpack if it starts down pouring....but most packs "hunting packs" are somewhat water repellent

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping that it wouldn't make a huge difference. I can imagine that bowhunters and those who stalk turkey may have a bit more need for one.
Just to clarify, my pack is waterproof. I was thinking rain cover soley for the camo benefit. I may still pick one up if I can find it seperately and at a good price. It just seems like they only come as a set with a pack. |
