Default Looking for a new climber...

I have used an old junk climber for the last three years. A friend gave it to me. It weighed a ton, packing it was impossible, and I never felt safe in it.

So I'm looking for something around 20lbs. Something that climbs easy and feels secure at hunting height. So far the equalizer and ameristep nontypical are my leading choices.

Anyone have experience with these or any other suggestions?

Equalizer all the way. Unlock most summit users who have never used the equalizer, I have used the summits and it is equalizer hands down.

Summit....and I have used the Equalizer. Nothing wrong with the Equalizer, just prefer Summit.

Default Summit 180

I like my Summit 180 because I like facing the tree when I hunt for the simple reasom that it hides me. If I want to sit with my back to the tree I just move the seat.
