Digital Game Camera' s

I noticed that DeerCam & Penn' s Woods have out a new digital game camera. Has anyone heard anything about them? I live a long way from my hunting area & it would be really nice to be able to take 100+ good quality images rather than just 36 each time. Also, I' d be able to look at them at the camp on a lap top instead of having to develop them right away which would be nice. Of course, the cost is significantly higher..... Any thoughts???

In the long run it would be alot cheaper than the 35mm models. You don' t have the expense of buying film and then having it developed only to find you' ve got 36 pictures with a couple deer and the rest are squirrels, coons, and fox.

I would like to know how they work myself..Getting tired of taking out my film and running to the developer only to find Hikers, Forestry personell, and Wildlife officials smiling into the camera. [:' (]

I just resevied a DHC-200 digital huntingcam, just starting to use it.You can down load to a laptop or use a tv,monitor to see the images in the field,so fare it has taken a few good images. The cam sure does eat batteries.

In general I have found that digitals go thru batteries a lot faster, have less flash range, are a tad slower powering up,and a bigger expense to loose if someone finds it and to buy.
