RE: Tree Suit

I have not used the tree suit but I have used succesfully a Ranco Saffari snyper outfit (Gilley Suit) I have had tremindus success with the outfit. I have had deer and turkey walk withi 2 feet of me. I have also had squirls try to jump on the suit. The smell of the burlap does not seem to boter the animals. A buddy of mine bought one after he saw mine and he shot a deer wih the first time he wore it. the only problem is that anamals will walk by as if you where part of the terain . the problem with this is they could step right on you if you are not careful. My buddy shot the deer he got within 4 foot of where he was sitting. I have also had people walk within spitting distance of me and never knew I was there. If you are considering a hunting outfit for the ground I highly recomend this outfit. You can get it in different colors for the terain you hunt and it also comes in a white for hunting in the winter for deer or varmit hunting. There is a web sight if you want to see it you will have to go to ask.com then put in the search for ranco safari you should be able to find the website there. If you get one when ordering ask for the owner and tell him you would like some extra berlap sowed on . I did this because when I got my suit I unraveled all the berlap, to make it look like the military snyper outfit. I paid 300.00 for mine but I got the leg gaitors with it. They where an extra 80 or 00 dollars . after I got it I found that the gaitors are not necissary. If you have not purchased the other outfit I highley recomend you take a look at the Gilley suit by rancho saffari. Well good luck let me know how you do.

RE: Tree Suit

I have both bush rag and leaf cut style ghillies , and the leaf cut(tree suit) works well . Unless you hunt in dark terrain I' d reccomend getting one in a lighter pattern like Advantage . [8D]

I use the Cabelas light weight Ghillie and the Sleeping Indian Ghillie and they work great. I' ve had a few deer and turkey get within about 3 ft of me. I' ve had a few squirrels climb up my leg too. Watch out!!!!:D
