THANK YOU JW! I got one of those this year from like the 50's that was my grandfathers and it is the only thing I will hunt in in cold weather conditions. It keeps me so warm, this is the first year I have been able to sit on stand all morning with no issues at all. Amen to woolrich. :s3:

no doubt, woolrich...have hunted in one my dad used to wear back in the 70's

also, my brothers wear codet pants, which i have used on occasion

lastly, the columbia guide wool, or something along those lines, has anyone used them?

I've always been a fan of a lightweight/weatherproof hunting jacket with layers underneath to be used in any conditions, but then, I'm in Texas and early season hunts in the mid 80's are not uncommon. On the few days it does get really cold, I can throw on a wool sweater and the light weight jacket over the top.
