Treestand Noise, WHat Can I do any products available
Ive got an older API alumiloc Mag treestand, it creeks quite a bit. What can I do to quiet this thing down. It seems to be doing it at the bolts. I was thinking about lubricating it but not sure. Any advice on any products of tips that could fix this. THanks alot

I used glue (epoxy).

Grease would be best for noise but not for going undetected by a deer's nose. Whatever you decide better do it soon if you are going to add or spray something before the season gets here. Maybe coating the bolt with scentfree wax might help, maybe it won't.

did you try to really tighten the bolts?

One stand I have I found adding nylon washers and then tightening the bolts back down solved my problem. Also made it squeak free at a few pivot points I had.

I used to lubricate the pivot points with vegetable oil and used nylon / fiber washers too.

Yeah, thats a much better idea than mine! I never had an issue with my stands since I started buying summits. That tip is appreciated for future reference.
