NVG(Night Vision Goggles)

Just curious about these because my friend bought a pair of NVG for work and i was just curious, is that legal to have for hunting? Not that i would expect anyone to hunt in the dark around here but just for having a topic up here. I wouldn' t hunt with one but i would use it if i was trying to track down wounded animal if night. Say if it is legal, would you use it?

It' s legality could vary , but I' d use it for tracking wounded game too . It might also be good for coon and varmint hunters .

RE: NVG(Night Vision Goggles)

I like to get to my tree stands before first light and stay in until it is
pitch dark(Obviously with a break in between). Some night goggles
would come in very handy for those dark treks thru the woods. Sure
beats a sharp stick in the eye, literally. As Red Hawk said, it would
also be great for tracking down wounded game. I would definitely get
a pair if they were legal. I' m sure if more and more states OK the use
of night vision, the price would come down even more because of the
higher demand from legal sportsmen.[8D]
