Best rifle sling?

I think I remember reading a while back, that several posters on here recommended the same rifle sling. I want/need a better sling, one that doesn't slip around and off the shoulder very easy. Mine is leather, with a wide padded part for the shoulder. It works ok as long as your not moving very much, except walking straight. Sometimes I put mine on my shoulder when easing through the woods with my four wheeler, but it doesn't stay put. Also, would like one that can be adjusted out enough to wrap around my arm to help steady gun for shooting. What aresome of youguys better slings.

I would suggest the sling made by Slogan Outdoors called Ultraflex. Try www.sloganoutdoors.com
I've got their phone number 1-800-383-4454. In my opinion these thermoplastic rubber slings are the best and they last. Check them out for yourself. I've had mine over 10 years now and it's still going strong. I will NOTbuy any other sling.

I really like my Tactical Intervention Specialties cuff sling. It is wide to support the weight. The cuff is the ultimate in stability while shooting.

I can't think of what it's called, but I have 2 of them, it essentially has a soft spongy shoulder strap that flexes as your rifle bounces...so as you're hiking jumping over rocks etc....the felt rifle weight is reduced....its nice.

I use the Butler Creek Padded Quick Carry Sling, sounds like the one that Saluki is describing. They're currently on sale at Cabela's.

Slings help you carry during a walk. They can help stabilize during a shot. They stink for stalking.

I've used the Safari sling for a few years and converted my family and buddies to it also. Walk around with both hands free. Shoot instantly (with a little practice). Very comfortable.

Here it is at one seller
