Thanks for all your help guys. All this talk about Swarovski and Zeiss reminds me of a hunting trip I made to Montana a few years ago were most of the other hunters had Swarovski and Leica so I had to hide my Bushnells[:' (] One hunter gave his Swarovski' s to the guide as a gift WOW!! Maybe I should be a guide

I bought a pair of Pentax DCF WPs on e-bay last fall for 279.00 new in box not reconditioned. Check it out in their hunting optics section. Also check www.swfa.com

Yep....Pentax DCF-WP' s in that price range. Phase coated/corrected roof prisms, nitrogen purged fully waterproff etc. w/ a lifetime warranty.
I actually just got myself the new Pentax 8X43 DCF-SP' s like Oldelkhunter mentioned, and I' d have to say that they absolutely compare with the real high end stuff. EXTREMELY clear and bright. Love em' . If you wanted to drop a few more $$ I' ve seen these new DCF-SP' s on Ebay for $449 " buy it now" from a Pentax dealer in NY. Most places are selling this model for $599 and up so that' s a steal.
If not you should rather easily find the WP' s for around $300.......IMO best for that $$.

I aggre on the Pentax DCF-WP' s, I happen to own 3 pair and they are very nice nocs for the money. I have also had to return a pair twice for repair, in both cases it was totally my fault and they repaired them once and then replaced them the second time...NO QUESTIONS ASKED No Charge!!!!
