Everyone,

I used it, deercane, during the camera season (midsummer) with mixed results. Really, I was not impressed with it at all. I also used something called luckybuck. It comes in a white bucket and looks like red sand. The deer absolutely hammered it. I put that stuff out in mid june and there is now a hole the size of a bushel basket and nearly two foot deep. I don't know what is in it but the deer seemed to love it. You can google the name to find out where you can purchase it. I bought it at Gander Mtn.

Blessings.....Pastorjim

well it seems to work. there has been alot of movement and scraping where i set it. but if your after a cheaper longer lasting alternative. we get a "brown block" from our local co-op. its a large mineral block and it cost $4. the deer go nuts for it, BUT! make sure if your gunna put one out, make sureyou bury it a few inches into the ground. coz my cousin put one out last year and the deer had moved it about 50 yards. and the last thing you wanna do is go looking for the damn thing.

good luck.

But do these products work for all deer or just whitetail? I hunt Muleys and don't know how these things would work here.
