Gatcos are easier to set up because you don't have to mess with wingnuts.

Having used the Lansky & Gatco, my vote as well is with the gatco. Easier setup, larger and better/faster results.

It takes me seconds to set up my Lansky. Weld a C-clamp to a bolt that fits the hole of the Lanskyand clamp to a table. then slide Lansky over bolt and youre done! You can tighten it up with a nut on top, but it's quicker when flipping the knife over to leave the nutit off. Ive used mine for years, and it'll shave all the hair you care to shave. Little trick- and Very sharp!
