Achery Peep Sights.

Guys, and direction here. I use a 1/4" peep with tubing. Practicing this year I have broken the tubing 3 times. I am getting a little frustrated and want to change. I don't need this breaking in the woods. I have looked at the following. Please give me some feedback.

G5 Meta 1/4" saw some good reviews.
RAD Super Duce 1/4" saw some good reviews also.

Thanks TAMBO.

I had the same problem a couple yrs ago but what i did was to draw the bow to full draw have my wife measure from the peep to the location where it gets tied off at. add about 1/2 inch for the knot and the small piece that slides on to the peep. the tubing only needs to streched enough to pull the peep around to line up, not to its breaking point. it has never broke during the season because i replace it before each season. no problem since.

I agree with deermeat, you are probably stretching the tubing too much. I've also found that if I've had the tubing for a long time, it deteriorates and will break very easy. I only buy a small amount at a time. Heat in FL kills it quickly.

Just save yourself the trouble and buy the G5, i prefer the 3/16 but hey, the tubing on your peep is a real speed killer you can lose up to 10 fps with it on there, depending on the size of the peep itself it can also slow you down. the G5 is made from ultralight magnesium so the bow hardly knows its there and i think its even a little quieter too. I know you've wasted more then 10 bucks at the gas station on snacks and such so justgive it try what do you got to lose except fps.
