RE: GPS

I have used Magellans, Lowrance, and Garmins.... I only buy Garmins now... I am on my 2nd Garmin now, cause the 1st one was stolen..... and I prefer them for quality and ease of operation. They are the leader in GPS ( location ) technology.

God Bless

I also prefer the Garmin GPS's. They just seem to make a better unit.

Garmin is the way to go. Magellan's do not like hot temperatures...I've had TWO fry.

RWK

I have both... but I really do prefer the Garmin... and actually the best Garmin right now in my mind is GPSMap 76CSx. Absolutely great send recieve antenna - really digs the satelites out.

I have the Garmin Rino530HCX with the built in 2 way radio and love it!

Well I guess I'm the minority here! I've had both Garmins and Magellans and prefer my eXplorist 400 over the Garmin. The bushnell Onix 400 seems like a great unti for hunting also.
