Which is cheaper, a 4 wheeler or a mule or a gator? I don' t really travel rough terrain, but I plan to haul stuff. I already have a trailer that will work with a 4wheeler.

Four wheelers vary a lot in price but are usually quite a bit cheaper than a gator or mule.

I bought a Kawasaki Prarie 650 last fall for $5999 out the door from a local dealer. The best big bike at what I think is an incredible price. If you don' t want this much bike then there are lots of other options. Ride them all and get what you like. You will find guys that swear by each brand.

ATV is my choice. I have a Yamaha Big Bear 4X4. I built a 4X8 trailer fr om an old boat trailer. widened the axle, Plywood floor, 2X12 sides. I use it for many jobs on the farm, fencing, wood cutting, etc. Will haul almost a 1/4 cord of wood. But when hunting season comes, I park the trailer. My only problem? Turning the darn thing around in thick timber, takes some getting used to.
