Try Harmons deer scents they are pretty good. I have had days where nothing works and days when it works great. I think it is more about using the scent at the right time (Rut/ Pre Rut) than what scent you use.

i do the same, and you can use them from year to year. just put them in the freezer. the only deer scent i use ( other than tarsal glands ) is Doc's deer scent, i had alot of luck with it.

I usually try to kill a doe during the rut or pre rut and use the tarsal's off that doe, it has worked more than it didn't....It's free to boot....
