Lucky for me I got both vehicles paid off, ones 8 and the other is 5 years old. But I've got a mortgage and a kid in college. If I was fortunate enough to be able to have a nice 4 wheeler I'd be taking care of it. |
RE: 4wheeler question/problem
well guys, i thought i was good to go. got the work professionally done and all that. i get on it today, start riding, i notice that it doesnt have its maximum power. it usually gets up to atleast like 52-54mph, but i just had to full throttle and it would only get up to 42. and i can feel the loss of power. im not sure what the problem is. the shop said they drained every possible thing, so i duhno. this sucks big time. i just had to vent and let everyone know that it didnt work out as planned, not yet.
question: I paid 250 bucks to get my bike back in good shape. when they gave it back to me, i was informed that it was running good as normal, or even better than it was before i brought it in. do you think it is there responsibility to do the remaining necessary work to get it running to the best of its ability. or could they say "well it must be something worse than we expected" if they already told me that the bike was fixed? thanks alot guys sorry for the rambling im just somewhat upset and confused as to why it would not get its full power. |
RE: 4wheeler question/problem
I'm guessing they may not have touched the clutches and they are gunked up, causing the loss.Check your bill for work performed, if it is not discriptive talk to the service manager/advisor what exactly was done. Then tell them the problem that still exists. One things for sure if she ain't running right it will cost more later!

RE: 4wheeler question/problem
I am thinking tha perhaps your needle valves or seats are worn out or gummed upfrom trying to run it with all that water in it.. I am not sure but it could be getting to much gas in it causing the slow down. Have you noticed any more gas being burnt out of it for the same miles you normally run? If so I would be getting that checked into.. Good luck with it..
