I need a good compact flashlight for under $70

Help me with ideas here, preferably one available at basspro as I will be heading there in a few days. I want something with a xenon bulb, preferably LEDs as well for run time. Something durable that I won't have to question it working. A tailcap switch would be nice as well.

I have a Streamlight, takes 4 AA batteries, very bright, push button switch on the end. Don't remember what it cost, but I am sure it was way less the $70.

UPDATE!

Well I took the surefire junk back today and purchased the afor mentioned black ice light. I love it. It is heavier being a metal body which says alot more for longivity. it seems to be ever so slightly dimmer than the surefire but not enough to matter. has the red and blue LEDs and two very bright white LEDs along with the Xenon. $55 bucks but I think this will be a good one.

I have been well satisfied with Pelican, I have been using stealthlite's formany years at work and Iuse a M1 LED to hunt with. The have awesome customer support, I sent a 2400 in with a broke switch and they sent me a new flashlight no questions asked.

I have a Lumen. It's small enough to fit in your pocket and it's plenty bright enough for being small'ish.

Cant believe you just said that the surefire was junk, we use them overseas and I have a personal one for hunting and they are incredible!

If my Nitrolon is a Surefire model then I would have to agree. My brother-in-law bought it for me for Christmas three years ago and it has to be one of the brightest and most compact flashlights I have ever taken into the woods. It runs off of two, Lithium batteries so with its bright beam the run time is only about an hour. Considering I use it in conjunction with an LED headlamp it has lasted considerably long...all season as a matter of fact...but then I am not walking more than 15-20 minutes at a time.

For $40 at Cabelas I would recommend it.

My G2 surefire works great. I've dropped it a few times and no problems. I bought the higher lummen bulb (i think it was 65 lumen) WOW that is bright!
