SureFire G2 Nitrolon bad review
Figured I'd post this on here for a review. I just purchased at BassPro today a SureFire G2 high output flashlight. It's a small pocketable ridiculously bright light. I was very happy and impressed with the purchase till a few minutes ago. I had been playin with it in the house some testing the brightness and went to load my Honda in the back of the truck for tomorrows hunt. I twisted the cap to lock in in the on position while I put my ramps in. I gently placed it on my tailgate and it went out on me. I took it apart several times and Everything seems in order but it will not work. My wife twisted it back to the on position and left it that way and a few minutes later the body was getting VERY hot but still no light. Bulb appears to be fine as well. They have a lifetime warranty but they are closed till after Christmas and besides what if I was in a tent and a bear came in on me? I highly doubt I'll be keepin' this one.

RE: SureFire G2 Nitrolon bad review
I'd say streamlight will be its replacement. I usually use streamlight and I was wanting a good bright compact light for hunting and the truck, everyone talked like surefire was hot stuff. I'll probably go get the Streamlight Buckmaster in its place.

I've got several g2 with the 120 lumen lamp and have only had 1 to mess up(bulb blew). They work great for me.
