Climber Help..

I recently bought a used climber aand I am used to a ladder stand. I would like to use the stand before the deer season ends in about a month. Are there any tips on using the climber and what pointers will help me successfully using the stand in a hunt this season.

RE: Climber Help..

1.) always use a saftey harness
2.) become familiar with the stand prior to your hunt (practice with it)
3.) always make sure you tie the bottom platform to your top platform (in case the bottom slips down the tree while your sitting)
4.) always hoist your gun/bow up and downwith a rope once you're seated and ready to hunt (never climb with it in your stand)
5.) always climb straight tree's, never attempt to climb a crooked or leaning tree
6.) always inspect your stand for any broken or cracked welds prior to climbing a tree with it
