Doc's recliner treestand?
Anyone own or know someone that owns a Doc's Recliner Climbing Treestand. I checked them out on their website, and it looks like a good one! I have a treelounge, and the Doc's looks easier to set up.

RE: Doc's recliner treestand?
I GOT TREE LOUNGE AND A BUDD HAS A DOC'S, ABOUT THE SAME AS FAR AS COMFORT AND USEABLITY. NOT ENOUGH DIFFS BETWEEN FOR ONE OR THE OTHER.
Hurry up and wait. |
RE: Doc's recliner treestand?
Thanks bruce! I've heard the same thing from several different people. Weight and comfort the same.

RE: Doc's recliner treestand?
I have 2 Doc's Recliners. I bought one in 1996 and just recently bought the updated, powder coated "new style". I feel the foot climber on the Doc's is far superior to my hunting buddy's Tree Lounge in that it gets you away from the tree so you can have better control of the stand as you climb. Also I didn't like the "TL's" wooden platform that is sold as a bow hunting "option". I feel the Doc's is a lot safer to use and it's really easy to "turn around" after reaching the height you want. It is true they are heavy but I feel my safety and comfort are worth the trouble.

RE: Doc' s recliner treestand?
Les, The new Treelounge Bow hunting adapters no longer have a wooden platform. It' s completely aluminum now.I' m a disgruntled New Version Treelounge owner. The old model was a much better stand.I have one of the wooden BH Adapters and don' t care for that plywood either.I posted a topic asking about Doc' s Recliner before I saw this post. Most of my questions have been answered except for the weight capacity.
Thanks Ruger Redhawk |
Docs Recliner
New to this website, but I see a couple of posts concerning Docs Recliner, which I've been sitting comfortably in for years.
Anyone want to yak about 'em? |
