Moultrie feeder

Anyone have experience with moultrie feeders I got one today at Walmart. It was a display CHEAP no instructions. I hooked it up to a battery to try it. It comes on and runs about 10 secs then if you cover up the photo eye it comes on again (like darkness) when you uncover it it doesnt come back on was wondering if thats nornmal if it has a delay for overnight??

If it's like the one I have it come's on when you hook the battery up, then comes on just after daylight and just before dark. The setting instructions for how much feed it delivers should be on the inside of battery cover. If you have questions drop me a line and i'll get out my instructions.

Thanks Highknob I thought thats the way it worked. I hooked the battery up and it kicked on. I seen the settings in the battery part for the amount of run time. I have a Kenco straight shooter out right now works pretty good but doesnt put out much feed even at full setting. It kicks on at daylight and a half hour before dark which is good. Thanks
