Summit Climbing Stands
 

well i went ahead and ordered me a Summit Goliath SS from Bass Pro. they seemed liked the best bang for the buck and comfortable to boot. me being a bigger guy (6'2" and 300#) i needed a heavier duty stand. i love my Tree Lounge but i needed a second stand for hunting multiple locations. i did not want to spend as much this time as i did for my Tree Lounge last time. anyone else use one of these that can give me feedback?

I bought the very same model last year, except it wasn't the SS version.. Love the stand!! It's also approx 3" wider on the top section VS the regular Viper model. Very comfy, and you can sit all day!! Only thing is that you will have to tieyour back pack to the stand, only way I found to be able to bring along all the extra stuff you need while up in a tree for several hours. Very solid while in the tree as well. Great choice!!

I have the viper and it's very light and compfortable. I bought this to get a way from dragging my tree lounge around at certain locations. The only gripe I have with it is the cheap plastic stirups. Last year after a few hours of scouting with my stand on my back, I noticed one of them was gone. I made me a new one out of steal which will probably add a little bit of weight but atleast I know it will be there after walking through the woods. Other than that no complaints at all.

Get the set of three side bags, they'll change your life expectancy! Best money I spent all last year..except I an one short this year after a little gastrointestinal emergency. [&:]
