game cam advice
Hey all! I am looking at cameras. The stealth cam v450 4.0 and the moultrie game spy l-40 which is also a 4.0. I need the IR flash because of poachers. Please tell me the good, bad and any suggestions you might have.
Thanks for your help! Troy |
RE: game cam advice
Im no expert in game cameras. But I have done a lot of research in the process to try and find my own camera. I looked at reviews on bass pro and cabelas as well as Hunting-Fishing gear website. All you have to do is google Trail camera reviews. That site pretty muchly has all the makes and models. But dont go on that alone. Look at pics that both of the cams you are looking at have taken. And lots more. I went with the Moultrie D-40 digital because it is a great price and I have seen its work and really like it. I will post pics in acouple days because I should be getting my game camera today. Check out ebay for great prices and a pretty good selection. That's where I got mine from and it was NIB.
Good Luck :D |

Thanks for the advice. I will try it.
Anyone on the forum build the home brew cameras? |
RE: game cam advice
the best in the business is the cuddyback but they cost big. I've got a couple of lesser expensive digital trailcams and i just put some duct tape over the flash because i dont want to flas the animals or have anyone else see where my spot is. it works well but of course you get a few night pics.
