I was going to recommend the Old Man climbing stand but the only complaint I've heard about it is that as the tree gets smaller it tends to pinch in on bigger men.Mine is an older version so I don;t know if they have improved on that.

Buy a Buckshot!!! I've had my Bigshot now for 7 years. It will climb anything that's close to straight. It's the most comfortable stand I've been in and works for bow season (back to the tree) and gun season (facing the tree). It weighs 24 pounds which is a little heavier than most but well worth it. Summit Viper XLS, rated to 300lbs. Quiet, comfortable,very safe. Plus they come with a full body harness.

I 6' tall and go about 235#...I have a Summit Bushmaster and an API Grand Slam Supreme....both stands are excellent quality and I am happy with both. You should try some different stands out and pick the one you like the best.

All great climbing stands mentioned above. Another thing to consider is ease of carrying, grabbing ability, and noise. I have tried them all and purchased the Lone Wolf Sit-n-Climb climber before this season. Its ability to pack flat, 16.5 lb. weight, ease and speed to set up, weight limit(300 lbs.), and shhhhhhhhh...quietness made me use it more than my lock ons this past season. In my opinion its the quietest climbing stand going up, coming down, or while in the stand. Only possible drawback is the seat is not as comfortable as some other stands, but I fixed that by adding a cheap pad to the seat.

I bought an API MAGNUM CLIMBER for this year
and its great. Very quiet, light,very quick to setup, and comfortable.
I weigh about 215 and this is buy far the best stand i have
ever owned.

I have a API grand slam supreme and a old predator. the grand slam is nice but not near as comfortable as the predator. the predator isn't made anymore thats a shame cause i would buy another.
now the grand slam is quicker to install and climb . and lighter but not as comfortable.
now go sit in a tree lounge .they are comfortable! i will have one someday.
