Default Waterproof Snake Boots

I am wanting to buy some Waterproof Snake Boots. I have spent alot of time looking online at different brands and places to buy them. The 2 i have narrowed down are

Cabela's 17" El Dorado™ Pull-On Snake Boot
[*]Pull–on design for easy on-and-off convenience[*]17" snakeproof protection[*]100% waterproof GORE-TEX® lining[*]Goodyear® welt construction
17" waterproof and snakeproof El Dorado pull–ons. The uppers are a combination of full–grain leather and 1,000–denier Cordura® nylon backed by Snakeguard and proven 100% effective in blocking strikes from North American vipers. GORE-TEX® lining also makes these boots 100% waterproof, and the pull–on, Wellington–like style makes getting them on and off quick and easy. A top side gusset adjusts for a snug fit, and traction is afforded by an aggressive Vibram® rubber outsole. Goodyear® welt construction makes resoling possible.
Average weight: 4.2 lbs./pair.
Sizes: 8-14 D and EE. Half sizes to 12
Camo pattern: Mossy Oak® Break-Up™.

Or

Rocky® 16'' Rattler Snake Boots for Men
Legendary ROCKY durability! Extremely lightweight -- only 3.62 lbs. per pair -- with more than 16'' of fangproof protection coming from a snakeguard backer topped with a rugged 900 denier nylon upper. The waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex® liner offers a dry, comfortable fit, while a football cleat-inspired exclusive Vibram® ProHunter™ outsole grips with confidence. Color: Realtree Hardwoods Green®. Imported.

If you have any other suggestions in this price range 129.95
Please make them.

I purchased a pair of Cabelas snake boots earlier this year. They have been good so far. I have spent 2 days in standing water and have stayed dry. I dont know the name of them, but they look just like the Danner. The best thing is they were $79.

I have a pair of these and i like them. They can be a bit of a pain to get on and off but once they are on they are comfortable and provide alot of support. They are my official gobbler killing boots.

I own Rockys and Lacross snake proofboots. My favorite is the all rubber boat made by Lacross called Diamondback. They are just as comfortable as any boot. I walk in themthru swampheads, lake edges and upland pine thickets.Easy to put on and take off virtually no maintenance and comfortable.I spend alot of time around water edges whenbowhunting for deer. I use the insulated 1500 grams rubber boots when it gets cold and they work fantastic but not snake proof like the diamondbacks.I do use a pairof small chaps on the insulated model and they work great. Snakes not as active after the first frost. They are the worts inlate fall on the move looking to bundle up.I bow hunt alot andone thing I have learned over the years is I am much more successful wearing rubber boots. Hope this helps good luck this year.

The ones from Cabelas are nice. You might also look at Chippawa

I bought a pair of the Rocky's this year for Turkey hunting and I really like the fit and feel. This is my first pair of Rocky's and the main reason I chose them was they were offered in 1/2 sizes.

I realize this post is old but figured since bow season starts up soon i ought to tell yall how it worked out.

I went with the cabelas they are good boots been using for 3 years now. Waterproof works good and still holding strong even in the florida swamps. The only issue i have is they can be very tough to get on and off with no way to unlace, or unzip your foot gets stuck sliding in and out in odd postions that can be quite painful. My first couple times wearing them it actually took help to get them off.

Now a days after hunting florida for the last few years i would highly reccomend a snake proof rubber boots. They are better for scent control, hold up well, and are surprisingly comfortable.

I'm going on my 3rd year with Cabelas lace-up - can't remember the model number. So far so good. Killed a 6 foot diamond back the second time I wore them so they are my "lucky" boots. Comfy & waterproof, but I wear arch supports in them.

I went with the Irish Setter Viper pull-on's. They're nice but they run a little big.
