3 season tents

Need to upgrade my tent, the one I have is a 2 man REI trail dome & it performs flawlessly, however it's a dome tent. I'm getting a little older & what it takes to get in & out as well as only being able to sit up or kneel is getting to me. I'm looking @ the Cabela's Outback lodge (10x10) for something roomy & will hold up the mountains of WA,ID & MT. What are you using for a 3 season tent ?

That looks pretty nice, but I doubt it will hold up to the mountain winds and snow nearly as well as your dome tent. It doesnt' have the strong pole structure, and the higher profile will catch more wind.

Something like that that has a good pole structure would be better for the mountains IMO.

Several years ago I bought a eurika 4 person dome and it is pretty tall but you can't stand up in it. It is great in the wind and totally waterproof. I can backpack it in because it has aluminum shock poles and weighs about 10 pounds.

Ok plan revised, I'm liking the first one ya posted. the 6 man looks to have a footprint of about 9'-6" & a height of 6'-3". Like what ya said, makes sense, thanks
