RE: J.R.H. Industries-Gunslinger Tree Stands
Camo Cop -- I'm pretty familiar w/gunslinger stands and can tell you if you like the comfort of the TL, you'll love the GS. 1 of the things I like is that
ther are several places to rest your feet which is important for long sits. After sitting 1 way for a couple of hours, it's nice to re-position to a different footrest. Also, you can backpack the GS without having to break
down the foot climber.
The foot climber does not come with a tether to the seat as RRH mentioned, but the rubber bungee strap is used behind the ankles when climbing up or down the tree to keep the foot climber from slipping of your
boots. Also, there is a binder strap included that secures the climber to the tree while hunting.
Also familiar w/Buckshot stands, but they went out of business a couple of years ago. I think they were being imported from taiwan, but I saw somewhere that the owner passed away last year.
I'll say again, if you want a stand as comfortable as a TL but easier to operate, you won't be disappointed with a Gunslinger.
