Hunting Boots

Looking at Danner Pronghorn 1000 gr insulated boots. Anyone wear these and what do you think about them?

RE: Hunting Boots

I tried on the 400 gr pronghorns in preparation for a Colorado elk hunt. They were really comfortable with good support and were light in weight. All the Danner boots appeared more comfortable than the Meindles, Rockys, and many others I tried on at Cabelas. I settled on the Danner Grand Slam 400 gr boots which were a beefed up and slightly heavier version of the pronghorn. They worked real well on the hunt and provided great support and were warm enough.
