Parka And Bibs
Im looking for some warm parka and bibs. Is Cabelas MTO50 whitetail extreme gear worth the money? What about Bass Pro stuff? Got to have Gore Tex and be very warm. Help please!

RE: Parka And Bibs
Pretty much anything in Gore Tex will do the job regardless of who sells it , does it have to be camo ? Don't overlook discount sites like Sportsman's Guide , quite often they have items like that at very attractive prices , and their customer service is excellent .

Try Gamehide. I like their clothes for duck but have never tried the big game gear.

When looking for a suit try and make sure the bibs have a high back. This will help in keeping you warm and prevent cold air on your back for the long days of hunting...

RE: Parka And Bibs
Get yourself the mountain stalker bib and parka from Basspro/Redhead. They have a burr resistant outer shell and always keep me warm. In fact, I wear them icefishing also. You can get both for around $200. I've had mine for around 8-9 years and love them.

MT050 is worth the price. Super quiet, extremely durable, warm, and wind and waterproof. I use it for deer and ducks. Great material

RE: Parka And Bibs
I like all the Cabelas stuff but I will caution you on bibs if you are a tracker or walk long distances while hunting. The bibs are too warm for me since I usually cover several miles a day. They hold the heat and I tend to get too hot while walking. If you plan to just walk in and take a stand for several hours they will do the job and keep you warm.
