Has anyone tried SlingStix?

Just wondering if anyone has tried these, and how well they worked. A buddy saw them on the Outdoor channel and said they were talking good about them on there. I need a sling for my new rifle anyway, so I was considering giving them a try.

Thanks in advance for any info :)

Yeah stay away from them, have seen them screw up on the range before.

They seem like a novel concept, but would personally prefer a regular carry strap or sling with a bipod or shooting sticks.

SlingStix....Great product! I'll admit it did take a little practice to get the hang of them.I got to usemine several times last seasonand took a few animals, some were long shots for me.Like the TV says they worked good from my tree stand too. I beleive it would bethe perfect thingfor turkey hunting where you had to keep your gun up for a while.
