polar tech 300 for layering

I am looking in to a new setup this year for layering. I just purchased some cold gear under armour and have been wearing on several bow hunts this past couple weeks. Last year I wore polypro. for base layer but sweated to bad going to and climbing stand. From the 1st time wearing the under armour I knew it would be my base layer from now on. I was wanting to purchase a second layer for all day sets on stand as the seek/chase/tend phase's of the rut begin. I was looking at the polartec line and was curious if it was anything worth having. I welcome all input or ideas of other products. Thanks

I use a polartec 300 non windproof pullover for layering while working (work outside) and all I can say is that it is an excellent choice. I know working is not like stand hunting but some days I spend a lot of time on a 4-wheeler and without the pullover under my coat I just can't stay warm. Not very good by itself though since it is non windproof.

I absolutely love Polartec. I will take it over all others. The only other fleece that comes close in my book is Cabelas brand.
