Default Trail Ghost Pictures - Velvet and mouth

A friend got these on his trail camera. One is of a nice buck losing velvet and the other of a deer doing something with it's mouth. Any guesses what he's doing? The trail camera was a Trail Ghost P41LE www.trailghost.com is where he bought it.

Just curious, is this set up around a feeder or food plot? I noticed that all three have the same 6 pointer at different times. Great pics none the less.

I believe there are apples on the ground. That's why their mouths are open, they are chewing apples.
