one picky scope
i went out trying to sight my rifle in and i have the hight good like 3 inches high but it groups one inch to the right so i turned it 1 click to the left but the bullets grouped also 1 inch to the left of the bulls eye and iam confused why 1 click is moving it so much what do u guys think ?

I shoot right along side him and I can varify this scopes movements. It is crazy weird.
Is there such things as 1 click is 1 inch at 100 yards? I recomended he send the scope back to the factory ( Bought in Spring of 2006) Its a Bushnell Trophy Dusk and Dawn with a TRX Reticle just incase your wondering. Thanks for the help in advance. |

I'd also go with checking your rings and mounts to verify they are completely tight. Those scopes have a 1/4 MOA adjustment, which means that it should be 4 clicks to an inch at 100 yards. How large are your groups? A broken scope would likely be tossing them in a larger group, but it may simply be a problem with some bad ammo too. I'd make sure that everything was tightened down, and try a couple more groups to verify the problem...if it still exists then send it back to get looked at.

It is possible but the adjustments should be 1 click = approx. 1/4" at 100 yards (in your case it actually moved 2" after adjustment). Is it possible you actually thought you'd clicked it once and actually obtained more? Not sure why you'd click it 1 click for 1/4"to try to move it an inch in the first place? Just wondering if at the range, muffs on, etc you actually over shot the adjustment. How many shotsdid you fire to the new POI and verify its grouping?

I had a Bushnell once,I didn't like the adjustments at all. Something might be wrong with the scope...
