Battery Life?

I have a question about battery life. Just wandering if it will run the batteries down faster if you have it set on video mode, as opposed to "pictures only" mode?

I have a Cudde Expert and the batteries ran down in about 2 1/2 weeks on video mode. I thought the batteries were supposed to last longer than they did. I took it off video setting this weekend, we will see if it makes any difference.

What uses more juice , leaving a light on all the time , or just flicking it on when it's actually needed ?

You should get much longer battery life with it in still picture mode.
