HunterCam Cradle

I used the HunterCam Cradle Pro model during the last season and found it to be just what I needed. This unit is a series of hinged arms that attach to the tree behind your stand. The arm glides in every direction smoothly and quietly. It come complete with a Bogen fluid head that is a profesional grade fluid movement tripod head. The unit gives the hunter more control and adjustment than any other camera arm that I have tried. I highly recommend this model.

The company also makes a range of other arms that cover every one from the average consumer to the pro. Prices range from $85.00 to $450.00.

The website is www.huntercamcradle.com. The site appears to be getting an upgrade but maybe it will be up and running again soon.

Looks very nice but way too expensive for me.

I can understand how the Pro model would cost too much but for the average person I would think that their smallest arm that is $84.95 would be reasonable. I know that I would not want to hang a video camera worth several hundred dollars on a $30.00 arm.

I have one HunterCamCradle "Pro" Treearm. I've only used it once. I've applied Realtree Camo to the arm as well. The arm is rated for video equipment at 11lbs max. It includes the arm with Manfrotto head, extender arm, and screw in T-bolt for application to tree. Pictures include everything listed.

My setup is too heavy for the camera arm. The arm would work great on something smaller, but after I put my PD-170 with 501 head, it has more flex than what I'd want. Without the large fluid head or with different camera setup, it'd work fine though.
